Help! Fish Dropping On Me.

So sorry to hear that! Make sure the water your putting back in is roughly the same temperature as the existing tank temperture, since you are doing large water changes. You don't want to shock them with a temperature change.

Yeah i put a heater in the bucket.

My Ruby shark gone now :(

Cheers for the help.

take the carbon out completely for now. as mentioned, you don't really need it. if it is has removed some oxygen, do you have an air pump or can you get one?? i am not sure whats happening here m8. only thing i can think of is the new filter. i think you are doing the right things to try and combat the problem but i am no expert. taking out the carbon and adding air (if you have it) can't do any harm and might buy you a wee bit time until someone can help you better.

good luck and sorry about your neons.

L

oh my goodness...what a shame....do you have a spare tank?? maybe you could put them all into that with your old filter and heater in case your test kit is knackered?? don't know if this would help...guys??????

:-(

|I have another tank up and running but its my cherry only tank. What u think i put them in ther in a hatcher tank or something for the night??

Its doing my head in you know my bristlnose are sucking on the back of the glass staying still like usuall. and i keep thinking they are dead.

yeah that might work until you find out whats wrong. what does everyone else reckon? my first inclination would be to get them the hell out just now. poor u...hope ur ok...

Do i just put them in the tank or liek i would with new fish temo is the same its from the same tap water. but its a shrimp onlyt tank that is cycled. would it overload the filter??

i don't know mate...sorry...have a look and see if fluttermoth, coldcazzie or zoddyzod are online...they seem to really know their stuff and have helped me loads...in the meantime, i will try and find out if your filter will overload...
