Help 2 Green Tiger barb in one day

ok well heres a question.
Should i restock with 3 small barbs then add the other 5 throught about 2 weeks with fake plants, or, get 3 large barbs and live plants? I just want my fish to live

First, how big is your tank?

If you are really set on having tiger barbs, maybe a fishless cycle might be a good idea. I know there are some pinned articles here about doing a fishless cycle. Since the tiger barbs do tend to be sort of sensitive fish, a fishless cycle would spare them the stress of going through a tank cycle.

Just a thought.
