Hells Angel (Fish)

My platinum angel is very aggressive, its only over the last couple of days that we have started to notice it, he goes for anything that comes into the front area of the tank, he's only small (body just bigger than a 50 pence piece) he is even hassling my firemouth cichilids, and i thought they were hard nuts..proved me wrong...

anyway, is there anything i can do? or am i going to see if my LFS can take it off of me?

I would take it back to the LFS..... I would take back the fire mouths as well if I were you

Agreed with the above... tanks not any where near big enough for him and he needs friends to shoal with, he hates other fish because he has no one else to communicate with. But nor do you have space for friends for him...

I think you should take the firemouth back to, I dont think 54 litres is big enough for an adult firemouth.

okay so if the angel and cichilids go back, going from whats in my sig, what do you think could go nicely in my tank in replace of them?

sadly yes i do, before i had a decent understanding of the do's and donts my not so LFS told me he would be fine, i no know he isnt, and im trying to find him a new home...so if you want him, say now haha!

TBH I wouldn't put anything else in that tank. It's already overstocked withOUT those fish

Yes but have to wait til I move house as I had the house inspected and he told me some things.
Moving house in April/May though.

Why not save for a bigger tank or trade ur 2 small ones for a bigger one. Just a suggestion.

because i live with both of my parents, the 30 is at my mums and the 54 us at dads, and neither want me to have a bigger tank than what i already have at each of there houses.
