Brackish is where the water has low salinity. So it's not entirely fresh but it's not as salty as sea water

Ahhh I asked abouta fish in a store yesterday and he said it needed a bit of salt in the water and when I said "Oh so it's marine" he said nope. To avoid further embarrasment I pretended I knew what he meant.
