My name is MrsHyde1018. i live with both my son as a SAHM and my husband who works full time as a pool service tech with his father. His father has been a keeper of everything from fish to turtles to crawdads ever since my husband was young, so when our son grew old enough we decided to buy our first tank together. (Side note, he absolutely ADORES sitting in front of the tank and watching the fish swim.) We keep mostly very docile/beginner fish; I keep cory’s and breed guppies while my husband keeps rasbora, glass catfish and black loaches. (He’s not into the breeding aspect, but he enjoys watching and helping me in the experience of breeding fish.)

On a non-aquarium note, we love cartoons, anime, and video games. My son especially loves SpongeBob, and we spend many days laughing. (never done an introduce myself post before, so I hope this will be fine. Haha.)

if you can’t tell by my profile picture, lol, I’m super into anime like Tokyo Ghoul, or anything sci-fi. (I was a big fan as a kid of stuff like Stargate, Sanctuary, Star Wars and Doctor Who, which I’d say is a good ballpark of my taste in all things from books to shows as an adult.) As for video games, my world is consumed by the game Monster Hunter Rise right now. That, and the old Bioshock games. I also love The Legend of Zelda series, with Breath of the Wild being my latest obsession, as well as the older Mario games, such as Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy.

What kinds of games/anime are you all into? Can you list a top 5 of things you enjoy hobbywise?

Thank you kindly for the welcome! I’ll definitely post pictures when I can. You caught me the week we do the deep cleaning, so once the tanks are pretty again I’ll have pictures to share!! I can’t wait to share, some of the fry my ladies have birthed are already getting their color and they’re gorgeous!!

Great taste! My partner @randal_ivory is obsessed with the LOZ stuff, same with pretty much all Nintendo bits.

My personal favourite anime are the Disastrous Life of Saiki K, Black Butler and Devilman Crybaby.

As far as games go, I really love the Portal games, and I love playing the Sims 3, a bit of Dota 2 and a lot of Farm Frenzy 2 lol. Not exactly a gamer but it's enjoyable. My boyfriend is lending me his Ultra Moon Pokemon game for my birthday, so I'm excited to get into that.

Then aside from that I like fishkeeping, photo editing and roller coasters!
