Hello From The Highlands

Thought i'd best say hello.
My wife and i are relative newcomers to the fish scene, and we cuurently have 2 tanks.

Tank one is a juwel rekord 70 which has :
1 x Large Pterophyllum orange koi angelfish
1 x Large Red tail black shark
1 x Dwarf Gourami
1 x Medium Bristlenose Plecostomus
1 x Tiny Sailfin Gibbiceps Pleco

Tank two is a juwel rekord 120 which has :
1 x Large Sailfin Gibbiceps Pleco
1 x Medium Synodontis Eupterus Catfish
1 x Small Pterophyllum koi angelfish
1 x Tiny Corydoras sterbai
2 x Corydoras aeneus - Albino Aeneus Cory Cat
1 x Corydoras paleatus - Peppered Cory Cat
2 x Corydoras aeneus - Bronze, Copper Cory
5 x Paracheirodon innesi - Neon Tetra
5 x Rasbora hengeli espei - Rasbora hengeli
1 x Blue & Red Male Betta Splendens - Siamese Fighting Fish
1 x Blue & Red Female Betta splendens - Siamese Fighting Fish
1 x Epalzeorhynchos Frenatus - Albino Rainbow Shark
1 x Metynnis Hypsauchen - Silver Dollar

you shouldn't have the male and female betta together, id take the male betta out and into his own 1 gallon as they will fight

now a few female say around 4 can be in a community tank, as the aggression would be spread out, this is from what i have read you can double check tho if you want to, i was worried the bettas might get hurt as I've never heard of anyone keeping a male and female together, breeding can be hard as they will fight some times instead of breeding, and eat the tails and can lead to death from fighting, its something to double check for the safety of the fish

Welcome! I had a male and female betta together for one day, this was until I learned not to do that! She would hide until she had to come up for air, then go back down. I ended up puttig her into a community tank with platties and mollies. She was VERY happy after that.
