Hi, I'm a newbie here and im looking forward to gathering knowledge to keep my prize tank and its occupants healthy.

Tim

Welcome to the forums, Tim :)

Hi! Welcome to TFF. :)

What's the prize tank's occupants?

I tried to upload a picture to my introduction, but I grabbed the full size image and it rejected the upload. In my haste I saw the newest "hello" thread and pasted a picture of my tank in it. Sorry to whomever's thread that is.
I've got two Angels (one koi), two Gouromis, six high fin tetras, 13 neon tetras, one red fin shark a Placostomus and four orange/gold colored fish that I cannot for the life of me remember what they are.
The tank is a 35 gallon Marineland Eclipse III
And the anonymous ones

Cool! I'll warn you though, that redtail shark can get up to 5 inches and aggressive. What species is the Pleco?

The yellow fish look like gold barbs.

something important ive learnt about fish keeping though is the can part although it is very important to listen tow warnings and account for them allot of things arent 100% guarantees just my two cents

I'm not sure about the placo. My daughter started a 10 gallon tank years ago which I was happy with. When my wife and I were first married we had a tank and I loved it. So when my daughter moved out I took over her 10 gallon starter tank and as the fish grew I upsized to a 35 gallon. I should write down each species. I know the placo will get big, he's already 5-6 inches.

The shark seems to be nocturnal as at night time he comes out and swims around the tank...I can almost hear him yelling "wee" as he swims in loops around his aquatic world. But if he were to get aggressive it would probably be at night.

Thanks all

Fish crazy, I don't quite understand your comment, could you explain what you mean..

Tim

First, you got mixed up between his screen-name and his rank. He is "Noobgamers", and his rank is FIsh Crazy, whilst you are New Member.

He means that where LyraGuppi said that the RTBS "can get aggressive", he was highlighting that it is possible that your particular fish will not get aggressive. It is wise to listen to such warnings and caveats, and be aware of the potential.

That's pretty much what I got out of it,
All the other forums I belong to have name on top, rank below and then a signature (optional) below. I like the way you guys have real name as an option.

My response to RTBS is that he's nocturnal and he is to get aggressive it will likely be at night while I'm sleeping. He's a real night owl!
I'll keep an eye on fins for any signs of foul play.

Thanks guys, cheers all.

Tim
