Apparently the site owner, William, wanted that ad code in there, so I've replaced it at his request.

As I noted before, the ads are only there in the TFF skin. All the other skins are ad free so I've just swapped skins. No ads for me.

Yeah, I had never seen the ads because I had the ip board skin.

I think, depending on your browser, you can eliminate google ads from even appearing.

They aren't that bad really and for the service the forum provides its pretty good to get it for free. It's not cheap to run this thing I'm sure

If they are really bothering people there are ways to hide them. Extensions/add-ons for Firefox and Chrome for example. There is probably something for Internet Explorer as well but I haven't used it in many years so I dunno.

If you go into 'my settings' the first thing on the list is time zones. Change it to GMT + 1 and you'll have the right time. Mind you, you'll have to change it back to GMT when the clocks go back. I'm not sure about using DST correction in the UK as I don't know when Americans change their clocks.




And I've said it before, but I'll say it again.

If you don't like the ads, use any other skin except TFF Blue. That's the only skin that has ads.
