Heater On The Blink

I think my heater is finally packing up, the temperature of my tank the other day e=was 31 degrees C. So i turned off my heater, I think the thermostat is gone.

What size would be best for a 28 gallon tank.


I need one as soon as possible

The rule of thumb is 5wat per gal so you'll need a 150wat

a 50W would suffice for that tank
however I would go for 75w or 100w

if you use tankmaster it will tell you what heating is required for your tank dimensions,
