Headboard tank

Hey is that a bow you have in your head board? Just wondering as a friend just asked me and I didn't know.

It's not a bow, it's a standard 55 gallon tall. The top lifts up, has a piano hinge in back and stabilizer bars to keep it from opening too far. The stand had 2 parts, the support structure is very sturdy and heavy. The part you can see just sits upon the support structure. The tank goes in from the front and there is a cutout in back to accomodate the hob filter. We have to cover the bed in plastic to do our water changes, but I think it's worth the hassle! :D

The inhabitants are mostly tetras..diamonds, serpae, 2 black skirts, neons, tiger barbs and giant danios. The serpaes and black skirts like my side..the neons hang out by hubbie :D

I have wanted a set up like this for a long time - but I'll have to build it myself as my hubby is not all that handy :)

beautiful setup....did your hubby draft up his own plans or get them somewhere?
