He Killed My Vt Nightlight :( :( -update On Ramjets Tank And Sickness.

If and when i go away i always do a clean out of all my tanks the night before and selotape little bags of food to each tank and with the dates of feeding on them (she also has the dates selotaped to the wall behind the kettle lol)so that my mum can just empty the bag in to the tank without worring that they are overfed and if any die just to pull them out asap an ive drilled in to her to change only half the water!
sometimes overinforming people can overload them and them nothing you tell them will go in!!

ooow im sorry *HUGS* i know how it feels i had a betta for one day my mom though he was dead luckly she didnt flush him i started to cry then i went down there i saw him swiming around im sure he had a very good life :-(

yeah i have never been away for that long before. usually if its just a weekend i will fast them. would they survive two weeks with no food?

Yeah i reckon they'd be fine. It seems like a risk, 2 weeks but i think it would be fine. Especially if theres live plants in the tank for your betta to snack on. I'd feed before i went on the 2 week holiday then leave them til im back .:)

Definitely. Esp if there's live plants/algae. I don't trust anyone but my hubby to feed my fish - if we go away people get left strict instructions not to touch the tank unless there's a dead fish floating in it.

The colour is growing back to which is good. I was worried that because his whole tail disappeared that it would grow back clear.
