My moronic brother-in-law won 3 "gold fish" for his kids at the fare ground last week and went out and bought a goldfish starter bowl kit (this one - http /www.petsathome.com/shop/gold-filtration-starter-kit-by-interpet-83007?cm_re=barilliance

Anyway to cut a long story short he knows i've had a new 10 gallon set up and basically called me yesterday and said did i want them because his filters not good enough and if i don't take them he's going to flush them.
I know a 10 gallon isn't big enough but is it crueler for me to take them and keep them in a safe 10 gallon or let him flush them (I'm strongly against that)
Please help
