Havent posted pics in ages so here's my latest addition, one male apisto aggassizi, added last week, his female is very shy, checking out all the caves etc...

The tank is quite dark with all the floating plants that they love, so these are very grainy from using iso 800 on the camera.

The Marlborough Red are not growing at anywhere nearthe same rate, they dont socialise with the other Discus for some reason and are occasionally on hunger strike (soon to be seperated and force fed!)

Thanks guys :)

They are quite easy, they are small and have fascinating breeding rituals, overall a great little fish! You can breed a pair in a 10G and feed the fry new hatched brine shrimp. They are sometimes hard to train into accepting flakes or pellets, but usually figure it out :)

Going to get some more pics off the camera over the weekend :)

Ken
