if so, please say what fish found it appertising and which did not.
if not try it, you'll be amazed.

method
slice a potato into approx 1/2"(1.25cm) pieces and drop it in,
no cooking required and leave the skin on.
leave the piece in the tank for max 3 days,
otherwise it will go brown and gooey

so far the fish that I've noticed love it are
L234 flyer pleco
L134 frog pleco
L128 blue phantom pleco
adonis pleco
all of my cories
all of my loaches

birchars and reedfish had a go but gave up

Awesome! Will try that as I have cory's, BN plecos and loaches!
My tried and true right now is 1/2" slice of cucumber, sunk with a plant weight. BN plecos LOVE it, loaches and cory's give it a whirl, everyone else ignores it!
Have also tried cooked peas which ALL my larger fish eat and seem to like.

ill try patatoes
i normally like putting cumcamber

Flame - I don't know why a potato wouldn't fit on a screwcumber - they are about the same size as cucumbers so I would assume it would work! I can't believe your BN doesn't like cucumber! Do you leave it in for 24 hrs? Maybe try zuccinni!

Feeding potato is great for trying to get plecs that stop eating to try again.

Don't potatos harbor toxins near and in the skin?
They need a very good wash in clean water to remove the chemicals on them that farmers use.

My BN plec loves it, when my brother owned it he used to feed it potato as a treat, and i've tried it and never seen it be eaten, but it was eaten.

I am new to all this and find this interesting
I have feed my fish par boiled peas and they all love them
How do i feed the Cucumber etc to them?
Fresh or boiled ???
I think my fish will love it as the peas are a bit hit

Peas are what I fed my fancy goldfish to keep them "regular".

Never thought of feeding it to other fish but why not.

I'm getting cories eventually so thanks for the idea. Potatoes are LOADED with vitamins.

Also....that's weird that potatoes would have a lot of chemicals on them.....I thought they grew completely underground?

Maybe they spray them after they're picked for storage/transport?

just put a strip of Aquarium lead, in it and it will sink.

I always give my peas fresh, i just pop em out of their skins, and drop em in.
