I need to order some acrylic soon so might have a go and plum it into the main tank! Probably be more like 1L though.

Here is another one its about 40 ml, with air pump for circulation, 10 watt t8(too much?), and no heat source... yet. I used a spice jar as the main tank.

the closest i could find to a small reef setup is this fluval edge one
its not as teeny as those jars though lol

i might setup a big jar with some live rock and some snails and hermits and some kenya tree up the middle tomorrow
ill put up some pics too, even if its only for a day itll be cool to try

this will be interesting seeing the salties attempt the picos like the planteds. Haven't try my hand at the fw pico but I plan too soon. Can't wait to see what you all come up with though!

i also made a pico from an api test tube with 1 tiny strand of java moss in it, but i was going to put the java moss back in my tank when it flung out and i lost it, so i put brine shrimp from my brine shrimp hatchery in it! a saltwater pico! and it has fish! and planst! (with some algae as a plant in it)

ok, ive set up a pint glass one
there is no pump in yet, but ill be getting that back tomorrow, so its all gone back in main tank for now.
i took some pics, so here they are

only had a starfish, a small snail and some cheato, and some small bits of LR with some algae growth on.

i like it for a WIP. its gonna go on top of my reef tank with a small pump. luckily there is a light right above it too. the heat from the tank should keep it warm enough, although my house is always warm anyways
