Parrot_man is breeding fish just for money!!! :grr: :grr: PROOF HERE READ THE 2ND REPLY

Although i breed fish for money i only want the money to improve the facilities for breeding the fish and the money side of it is the smallest part of breeding fish for me!!!! but obviously he is just looking round and has probably seen that quality breeders like bettaman and other people on here can sell quality bettas for more than guppies etc and decides to breed them

I have a problem with the lying.
And the obvious blatant disregard for the health, safety and well-being of the fish.
ANNNNND the fact that you're doing it SOLELY for the benefit of your bank account.
For no other reason.

If you're looking for something to make you some money, start going to garage sales and sell junk on ebay. At least no live animals will be harmed in that.

We have a problem with you breeding for money because you really, and i mean really don't seem to care about your fish. Every post you've posted, we give you suggestions and you just post the same post again, are you even reading what these good betta people are telling you?

If any of you want to waste the time going back through his previous posts you'll see that he started out with parrots, then puffers, then angels, bristlenose plecs, and now bettas. All this since mid-April. If he has all the "breeding pairs" he claims to have then it seems like he would be too busy to play games. He obviously thinks that breeding fish, any fish, is going to make him money, but he is not willing to put the time, trouble and research into doing it right. I'm through wasting my time with him.

haha he is only trying to make money because of all the money he has wasted on "breeding pairs" haha...the most you will get from any fish store for your fry is 1/3 of what they could sell them for...even if you raise them to adulthood (which would cost you quite a bit whether it be bettas, blood parrots, or whatever), you are looking at a dollar per fish at the most, which does not even begin to cover what it costs to maintain and raise them, not to mention the time you will spend....

i really hope this ####up gets banned...yes, i did call him a ####up....he is purposely wasting our time, not listening to experienced advice, lying, and anything else possible to force us to respond with the answers you want to hear....we will never give you those answers - you will never be able to successfully breed fish and raise them without thinking months in advance - which you are obviously not capable of...

i'm not usually one to attack like this, but i'm at my wits end...

1) you will never make enough money to make up for the costs unless you go really large scale - i'm talking hundreds of angelfish fry at different stages of development with pure/bold color patterns and desireable traits
2) why ask questions at all if all you do is ***** and argue?
3) what is the point of lying - we are not idiots - we have seen your 30 posts saying THAT YOU WANT TO BREED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how could we miss all of them?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we obviously know you are trying to breed these bettas even after our best advice...i honestly hope for the sake of the fish that they both die from exhaustion because they would never live a good life with you as the owner.
4) you should try guppies - that way you arent spending so much money on a so-called "breeding pair"....also, MAYBE then you could have some successful spawns, lol
5) the reason to buy a breeding pair is not to make money....it is to carry on the good genes through the species instead of passing on the indesireable "mutt" genes - i.e. the multicolored veiltails you see by the dozens in every single store
6) if you have made it this far, which i am sure you have not, i am very proud of you for finally reading an entire post! you should be proud of yourself too! that is quite an accomplishment - i mean actually READING a post and all....you obviously haven't read anything anyone else has typed YET, so at least you have this much...

sorry for the rant but i am completly disgusted by such ignorance...if my post is that bad, please notify me and i will make appropriate changes to it

I don't have a problem with him or anyone else making money breeding these fish. My only concern is that there's adequate conditions set up for the fish involved and they don't suffer. Also that the fry have a good home to go to (LFS or whatever). I've read just about every post from parrot_man and it seems he is intent on breeding them no matter what. But, he seems to disregard any advice offered and is in a big hurry to spawn these bettas. Listen to the advice, don't lie about a 'friends' betta. Reading some of the posts, he refers to his friend then to himself in the same context.

Give the bettas time! Be responsible about it and do all the research you can. Don't rush them!

i have emailed the breeder of the fish you bought off aquabid!!!!

email [email protected]!!!!

N_boontiang has a stunning dark orange HM show fish on aquabid you can find it at the bottom of page 6 on the HM section going for about $325

so i tell parrot_man in a PM about what he is doing is wrong and said i will tell the breeder on aquabid parrot_man replied:

YOU DONT KNOW HIS EMAIL ADDRESS AS THE EMAIL IN THE PICTURE IS NOT HIS EMAIL ADDRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WELL ACTUALLY PARROT_BOY YES IT IS BECAUSE I SPEAK TO HIM ALOT AT THIS EMAIL ADDRESS ABOUT BETTAS!!!!!

while it has been entertaining it's time to say "don't feed the troll".
parrot man is obviously jerking our chains, him and his "mate" can go stuff themselves. :grr:

yep!!! his mate was just himself he was to much of a coward to say that he was ignoring our advice!!! what an ignorrant..........

goodnight people :D

Hopefully he'll just leave. Or perhaps he'll get reported to the admin for reteatedly posting the same bloody thing; I'm sure its the rough equivalent of spamming when you post the same question 50 different ways on the same board. I feel bad for parrotman's fish, though by the sounds of how he's taking care of them thus far, their troubles will be short lived.... -_-
