Has My Fishy Got Ptsd?

So the other day i had a bit of an event. My bedroom door was shut (while i was inside) and the little lock thing that keeps it closed just jammed so i couldn't open it!!! grrr anyway my man had to kick the door open and it caused quite a bit of noise and banging, as you can imagine.

Thing is since then my new boy has been jumpy and skittish, he's healthy and eating and swimming around its just if i make a quick move or a loud noise he darts into his plant! and he's VERY wary if i come towards the tank to look at or feed him!

do you think he'll eventually recover or have i scarred my poor fishy for life?

oh he'll recover, just like any animal they can get spooked by these things, little bit of time and he'll realise that it's not gonna happen again and nothing will hurt him.
