Could be repaired but I'm going to buy a replacement tank, if you had seen my last attempt at using a silicone gun you would know why !
 
Its a shame as the plants were doing so well, Still it was nice while it lasted and cost me nothing.

Also try practicing your caulking skills with something cheap like painters caulk. Shame to let a tank go when it was so cheap.

Yea I was lucky....got nearly a years pleasure from it so can't complain.

It lasted nearly 9 months before the leak, and leaks can be repaired and far cheaper than buying a new tank.
