Well, I've got home from work, and had a real bad fish evening.. My good lady advised me that our latest Koi had died, she found him on the edge of the pond tangled in a bloody plant... a major unfortunate accident..

then I had to euthinise a loach from the tank that wasn't looking too good at all..

a bad day in the Fb household...

this is my ex fish.. the brown colour on him was more, copper/brass coloured.. I've never seen this colour on a carp before, is it common?

So sad for you I lost some English Koi earlier this year. Have seen the brown Koi in our LFS but can't remember the name. We have a metalic Koi a gold Koi a white/blue|koi and a Splodgy Koi called Roger (Rodge the splodge). All English Koi so not as expensive as Japa Koi but pretty
