right bought 2 blacktail guppys for my community tank the tanks has a couple of mollies some neons some bleeding heart tetras and some platys and a swordtail the 2 guppys keep chasing all the other fish around and nipping at there gills is this normal behaviour or are ther just 2 bad uns

I have a guppy display tank with 7 male guppies in, they do this to each other all the time. I think it is guppy courting behaviour! In the absence of females any fish will do. :S

so there not nipping them there just looking for a quick kiss

If you have mixed genders this is bad, both guppys and platys are very oversexed fish so you must have at least 2-3 females per male as otherwise they will concentrate too much of their attention on a single female, which could stress out to death. The same gender stocking guidelines apply to mollys as well.

the guppys are both male same as the mollies and there is 1 male platy and 3 females
