Guppy fry feeding schedule?

I just cut a tank divider to fit in the ten gallon they’re currently in so I’m ready to start separating the genders the moment I can tell

YALL ONE OF THEM IS GETTING A YELLOW TAIL IM SO HAPPY. These are the clearest pictures I could get. I tried sticking a Cory cat pellet on the side to gather them in one place and my camera couldn’t focus on the tiny rapid movement 😬

I think the one in the second picture is a lady and the one with the yellow tail a man

About what age can guppy fry go safely into the main tank? This batch is 6 weeks on Wednesday, getting their color. The reason I ask is because two separate batches of fry were born the last few days and there are currently 14 tiny newborns in my emergency 1.5 gallon. I’m comparison, there are only 6 in the month old batch and yet they have a 10 gallon. And I do NOT want to put the newborns in with the month old fry because I forgot just how small the newborns are

The six week old ones are plenty old enough to go in the main tank, no worries!

Usually their big enough that the adults can't eat them by the time they're about three weeks old.

Since my og post I’ve successfully saved 63 more fry from all my different ladies! I need to start collecting child support for these babes. And of the ones I’ve managed to gather, I’ve had a 100% survival rate! My very first fry drop, containing the six, 3 are boys and 3 are ladies. The boys all have super vibrant orange tails and pink bodies with striking orange stripes and the ladies, a bit slower in the coloring, all have yellow tails decorated with black spots. Included pictures of the three boys!

I have also since gotten a 20 gallon tank for my female guppies and female fry. Since I wasn’t sure how many fry I was loosing due to them being gobbled. I hope I can save more this way! 69 is still a very happy total! Though I am running out of places to put them 🤣

I found a shop that’s willing to pay 80¢ A fry though! So once their colors finish coming in I’ll be able to choose which ones I want and force myself to say goodbye to the rest

edit: the baby Cory cat is still alive and incredibly healthy! He’s down an eye but you wouldn’t be able to tell based on how active the little guy is. (Still a mini heart attack moment when’s he’s resting with his missing eye facing the glass because he honestly looks dead that way even though he’s very very much alive)

Actually. Just found my first deformed fry. His back tail is bent a little up so it’s a little more above its head than it should be. For now I’m gonna call him V and hope he makes it.

Since my first post, I am now drowning in fry 🤣

I think I have 80 something now. I lost count after 69. I have no idea which babies came from which moms. It’s chaos. They just keep appearing and my female guppies aren’t getting any bigger or thinner. They aren’t giving me any indication of labor. Just one day there’s no fry and the next BAM.

But I’ve dutifully placed all the fry in safe tanks. They are very cute and I love them. But I’m running out of places to put them 🤣

Update on what a few of them look like now! The ladies of the same age are still pretty plain; still yellow tails. But they are showing hints if other colors. I shall love them regardless of their final colors though!
