Hiya everyone!!

yesterday I posted a note telling everyone that I went to my local Lf's and there must of been about 35 Betta's and that I really really really wanted a CT.

well I went again today and I bought a new CT lol hes beautiful, his Blue and Red and has MASSIVE finnage lol!!!!

Ill post a picture of him soon, I took pics but you cant see his true colours but if u wnan see them ill still post them?

Try getting the pictures less blurry. however, regardless of picture quality, you should still post the pictures. :D

I cant do anything to help the picture quality its a rubbish camera lol its digital though, have you got any tips to stop it been blurry lol.

ill post pics soon

If your camera has AutoFocus if you go to close to the subject (4cm away) it will come out blury, try to take a picture a bit further away, hold your button down for a second or two before pressing it down fully, (on my camera a green light shows up) this way the autofocus is activated.

lol thanks for your Comments

I dont know if my camera has Auto flash on I dont think it has. I cant beleave I have CT its huge. It has large spikes on it tail but the spikes dont stick out like a normal CT so would this mean he isnt one or is he a different breed?

I turn all the lights off in the room and then have the tank light on and use macro on my camera. My pictures aren't super, but they don't come out so blurry. I think it just takes a lot of playing around to figure out what works best for what fish and what time of day. A lot of it is pure chance too, I can take two pics right in a row and one will be perfect and the next cruddy. I also end up taking 20-30 pictures of each fish before I find one I can use, it's frustrating, but you'll get it.

I can't wait to see the pics! Congrats on your new fish! :D

Cool set-ups! Bowls are really hard to take pictures in because they can distort your fish. Do you have another container of some sort that you could use just for pictures? Another thing you could do is light the tanks with a lamp or any external lighting, that will help. Good luck!

I think I have the same bowl as the one next to your bed is it flat in the back? If it is thats the one I have I actually get the best pic's off my fish in that bowl. My husband thinks I'm nuts when I take pic's of my fish :D I start carrying thier tanks around and trying to find good light. It really is a long job and I only have 6 bettas it must have taken sorrell all day
