Got My 1st Betta

Just to let you all know that he has settled in well and is very active,he also started eating yesterday.

He has 4 corys in with him and he doesn't bother them,if anything he can be seen swimming along side them

I got the tank from my local pets@home

It's called the fluval edge and comes in pewter (which i have),black and burnt orange,it really is a lovely looking tank.and yes i'm a very proud grand mummy,dreading the kitten going to it's new home next week

The Fluval Edge is a very nice looking tank (better than the Biorb IMO) but they aren't suitable for bettas unless you drop the water level to allow for air access (also IMO),

So I hope you have done so?

My betta manages to get air perfectly well from where the opening of the tank is

Yayyyy!! haha I LOVE that for a name too! Alpha the Betta! (Does that make me like, a god parent or something?) Keep me posted on how Alpha's doing!

I'd be delighted to have you as his godparent seeing as you chose such a brilliant name for him.

This betta thing sure is addictive,i now have a small clear seal tank to set up and cycle for another betta ooops lol
