Got Bn Eggs!

how old are they ,
they might be still absorbing their egg sacs
soak a couple of algae wafers untill soft then break them up in the tank so bits go every where that will help them find the food easier

They are around a week old, although I am not sure exactly, I first saw them hatched 5 days ago but they didn't look newly hatched, they only started coming out of the cave a couple of days ago.

Little Update:

Dropped in an algae wafer yesterday and they fed well, so thanks to windy 1958! So now we've got lots of plump bellies

I've got a more official number now, and have managed to count around 25 first thing in the morning when they're all out of hiding, which I think is a nice number, and also that's how many eggs I thought there was so there was a good hatch rate!

so glad their eating for you :good:
my piebalb b/ns hatched this morning there about 30 of them :good:
the reason their riding on the snails its for the algae growing on their shells

I know it's not very long since last update, but the courgette made a photo oppurtunity too good to miss and also the fork gives a good sense of scale.

No they are all regular browns. I thought some were albino as sometimes some would look a lot lighter than the others but I discovered that when they went into the darkness of the cave they went a lot paler, once they had come out they went brown within a few minutes.
