ive got a betta in a 2.5 gal and he always hangs out in one corner so it seems pretty empty...it has a filter and stays at a pretty constant temp of 20-23 celcius...the tank seems empty with just him in there...could there be possible tank mates for him or is it too small...ive heard of ADF's being able to go in with them?

thanks

Yeah, 2.5 is too small for almost all other fish. A snail would make too much mess....

Like Cracker said, how about getting some live plants?

A couple of panda cories if you have a sand substrate.

Got to say, the pandas will be less than happy. They are one of the least adaptable cories, and should ideally be kept in families of at least 5 or 6 minimum.

2.5 is too small for anything other than 1 betta.
corys need min 10 gallon
crabs would try and eat the betta
snails are super messy, as are frogs.
shrimp would end up as betta lunch
