If you are in the United States go to petco they have great deals on good tanks all the time. Just recently they were holding a sale for tanks that were a dollar per gallon. Ex) 50 gallon tank 50 dollars.

My first second hand 55 gallon was $100 on craigslist for tank oak stand lights decor filter and heater. My second 55 was $60(also craigslist) for tank steel stand and lights (this tank was pristine like just outta the box). I am hoping when iget my 150 gallon+ I can find a good deal

I paid 125 or 150$ for my 65 gallon tank, stand, heater, external canister filter, automatic feeder, and plenty more accessories. Its awesome what you can find and fix up with a bit of work!

The Petco $1 per gallon sale goes through Jan 21!! Picked up a 29g last night to upgrade my 5 year old's 10 gallon tetra tank.
