well im back home , hung over , but the fish are fine . will get me mate to come round with his decent camera wednesday once the tanks got a background , as my camera is useless .

nope , but i did make her breakfast this morning lol . its funny she moans like crazy about my tank and how much of a pain it is , even to the point where she kicks off sometimes , yet when the tank was taking too long to warm up and i was meant to be going out, she said shed do the fish so i could still go out. i think secretly she likes it lol

the photos will be more of the fish for now as at the moment the tank is basicly bare with only this piece of wood .

this gives you an idea how big the wood is

but when i can afford to i plan on puting in 1 of these backgrounds

and hanging some nice branchy pieces of wood down from the top to give a kind of mangrove root effect .

i like that background as well i bet it not cheap though

cant remember exactly how much the background is but i know it wasnt cheap , but hey im in no rush il get it sooner or later

40"x20" is £55 but i need 48x24 so i have emailed them for a price.

people sometimes sell off cuts of those backgrounds might be worth trying to join bits together?

nice idea wills but id prefer to have it in 1 piece . may give fleabay a look tho .

get the silicone out with some slate and
bog and drift wood stuck to the back pane
of the tank
