The problem with Rotkiels is they are hard to find there are about 4 or 5 strains of red necked severums in the UK right now and some of them do get massive... one of them is one of the biggest Heros sub species out there.... but its often hard to know which is which as they all often command higher prices compared to regular severums... just something to consider... The true Rotkiel does only get to about 8 inches but like I say not quite so straight forward to find them...
