Well scott i think the Bumblebee Goby ( Brachygobius xanthozona ) will tolerate fresh water
But i dont think it would fit into a community tank.

depending on the size of the other inhabitants, peacock gobies are colorful and relatively peaceful, as are goo-obo gudgeons. Both would be harmless to most common community fish (though not their fry) due to their size, but could be eaten if you keep them with anything too large. Bumblebee gobies probably aren't your best bet for a community tank as they are reputedly hard to get eating and you might not be able to tell if they are feeding properly, or they might be out-competed by more aggressive feeders. I never had to worry about my peacocks at dinner time, they got their share, but I haven't kept goo-obos so can't say anything about them :)
