Glass Is Cut, Now To Start Building!

Thanks! Say you didn't have these materials at hand (like me), where would you get them? Where do you get the glass and the corner holder thingies? I was thinking about making a 1' cube or an 18" cube.

You would get the glass in a Glaser and I didn't use corner claps (as shown in the how to build a tank sticky in this forum section).

Other then the above you should be able to get all the material you need in any good DIY store. From what I have read, if you don't already have the glass to spare it is more expensive to buy the glass and make the tank then it is to buy a tank in a LFS. I haven't bought glass to date to build tanks but I can only imagine that it is expensive.

What's glaser? I'm pretty sure it would be a little less expensive to make a tank rather than buy one. Are cubes a good idea? I was going to make a mini nano reef. Any PMs on building tanks and the difficulty and way to build nano reefs would be highly appreciated.

Sorry that is my spelling mistake its "glaziers". i.e. A place where you can buy glass.

Well if you are sure, then fire away!!! I have prices glass before in "glaziers" and it has always worked out more expensive than it premade counterpart. Unless of course you know the glazier and you can get it at cost price.

It's my lucky day! There's one downtown and I'm going to see it today. My mom seemed to like the idea of me making my own tank.
