I heard this became quite popular a while back but soon lost favour when people had a horrible time trying to keep the tanks cool. It seems you can't win.......

ok the plan now is too install the hood of my trigon with 2 strips of the tmc aqua ray led's.

I will keep the t8's and put actinics in these.

I will also hopefully use my 2 x 36 watt t5 pc's.

Id go with ditching the freshwater and converting to salt... thats what I did anyhow to keep my other half happy.

Oooh its not just me and my other half who argue over the fish then lol!! I tried the 'well you have your cars, ill have my fish' arguement but that didn't work once he pointed out that he has one car, and i have a 'family' car AND my seriously high powered performance rebuild going on.. opps!

I have an idea tho, I wanna go marine, but other half is whinging about money aas I already have 3 FW tanks.... so, how about you bring your marine tank here to go with my FW tanks, and I'll send other half to your place... then we're all happy! lmao

Failing that, why dont you just have both your tanks downstairs?

in reference to the idea of keeping them out in a room in the yard and keeping them cool. couldnt you just use a chiller to handle heat problems?
