Getting Some Goldfish Hopefully And Needing Some Advice...

OK, so i've just got a 15GALLON tank off eBay complete with heater and gravel - but no filter. And I have some questions about goldfish...

1. Do they need an established filter just like tropicals?
2. What temperature do they need to be kept at?
3. Do they really need the same treatment as tropicals?

A 15 gallon is big enough for a fancy goldfish such as an oranda or fantail for most of its life. Its ok for a small goldfish for around a year or two small goldies for 6 months.
Fancy goldies should be kept around the 18-20c mark and goldies prefer it cooler. A fish such as a bubble eye neds tropical temperatures as they arent really that hardy.
The filter still needs to cycle before adding the fish as cycling with any fish is stressful.
They are probably needing more care than tropicals as they are messier, so the water changing will be more.
