what im wanting to know is will corydoras be ok with german blue rams ??

im thinking of getting 3 corys and how many rams could i get the tank is 33g

cheers

Ps also where in the Uk can i source the german blue rams

yup cores and rams should be fine, while rams aren't bottom feeders like cories they do spend most of they're time hanging out around the bottom of the tank so make sure there's room and hiding spots for them as well as the cories.

get at least 6 cories, they need to be in groups. with 5 hatchets and 6 cories (assuming they're not one of the really big species of cories) you've room for up to 5/6 rams if that's all you wanted. if it was me I'd maybe get a pair and then get a trio of some apistogramma cactuoides/agassizzi to go with them :good:

they show up pretty regularly round here, where abouts in the UK are you, hopefully some local members can let you know where to get them

hi and thanx for the reply im from washington, tyne and wear, uk

so a pair of rams and i like the orange flash chichlids

Yes I have a blue ram with corys, although he can get a little pushy with them if they come into his territory, but no injuries or anything, he just pushes them out.

You could try Fish Alive in Durham, Chilton Aquatics in Chilton Village, Co. Durham, Billingham Aquatics, and Peter Barrett's garden centre near Stockton (they had rams and cacatoides in a couple of weeks ago).
