Hey what’s the story on this guy? www.garf.org
I’ve been reading his site for awhile now. All of his pictures are from 99-01. Is there a limitation to doing a reef the way he suggest? I mean he has no sump or ref. Does his process really work? Has anyone used it? It just seems too easy that’s all.

IMO, decent for a beginner setup, but not so good for other advanced options.

i dont use a sump or a ref and it seems to work really well

Are those Penducters/Eductors I see on the sides of the tank there Jeff?

Thanks Jeff. Your tank looks good. What kind of hardware are you running? Do you have a refigum?

yes they are ski ... and to tell you the truth its the best thing i have ever done to the tank
without spending an arm and a leg to do it .
I'm also using The Mak-4 compares to an Iwaki 55RLT for the pump
not really sure on the GPH but it rocks the tank .

cedyced,

as fare as What kind of hardware I'm running its really simple i have a eheim 2999 wet/dry for filtration
2- seaclone 100 skimmers and a turbo twist 3x UV sterilizer nothing elts. lighting till next week is 2- coralife 265 watt PC fixtures i say till next week because I'm getting MHs so i can keep some SPS corals
i dont have a refigum or anything just what i stated above for flow i have a mak-4 pump plumed into 1" PVC and exiting through two 3/4" penductors at each end
