despite the fact it looks exactly like a bong i am pleased with the bubble counter


also been told that tennis tourney wins = 25$ , only if i win the whole thing tho

also forgot grade money = 5$ for B and 6$ for A, straight As is 50$, C or lower forfeits all

also the fact that i have also lost the newer male preacox rainbow as well as a gold barb which i have no idea why the gold barb died i was really pissed, buried it underneath blueberry bush.

tank still is S#!%, mixing the sand was an awful idea, gona drain an add another layer of fert sand and then top off with something else to avoid the mess, till then gravel vac.

goign this weekend to chattahoochee river to pick up trash, also might pick up some H. polysperma that my teacher and mikaila31 said should be present in the area.

heavily plant that and order ferts

then order my plants, prolly in one big order, and proly over thanksgiving break so illhave time to fix stuff up

then what ill do is get all the other CO2 stuff and filter and get that going along with a second light bulb to keep balance with the tank, i overshot it with the lights and got the algae but now things are good so ill try and keep it that way

till then i guess, if anyone is paying attention that is....

i too want to watch this come along, as it hasnt done much other than stagnate and decline that doesnt sound as funny as i thought


also lost the female to popeye so im down to 14 fish now. i have plans for my school of neon rainbows so i hope nothing else happens

well i again scratched that one out again


BUT i think i have something better

im orddering my 'pioneer' plants today

they are

hygrophila corymbosa
hygrophila difformis
and Gymnocoronis Spilanthoides

all fast growers

ill let them grow out underneath a little observation box so that way my fish dont eat them right away and then pick and choose which i like and dont like and get rid of them according to that

thats right before i order the big guns e.g everything else (modified btw) along with the ferts

pics when i get them and re shuffle the plants.

so those plants still havent comein the mail so i had to go and get them from the petstore which is unfotunate


and i also picked up some epsom salts but imwondering if i can dose just this now or do i have to wait till everything else comes in?


new plants doing good but one of the swords is in decline hopefully it will last till the ferts come in

Swords regularly die back after planting, but should pick up again after that. Nothing to worry about I would say...

thanks for that it only lost one leaf and its already growing 2 more the challenge is keeping the barbs off of it they eat the leaflings to the stem



also an update on my online order turns out that it never got shipped until today so ill be hopefully getting them friday or saturday

the ones i have bought at the store are doing good im seeing growth every day from all of them, unfortunatley 2 wisterias were uproooted and munched to pieces but they came in packs of 6 so im good


cols weather is messing up my CO2 ill eventually be getting one of those nano diffusers as well but does anyone have an idea how to keep the bottle warm?

so order came in friday but they forgot my G. Spilanthoides which im not too upset about because i now have no room! they wisteria and corymbosa siamensis took up all the open space which imhapy about cuz it looks planted finally!

course my lights arent too bright and i ditched my cheapo powerhead (getting a koralia for X-mas) so flow from filters which is doing good so far but for now everything is spaced out

only have 2 uprooted wisterias so far and the rest of the plants sent out a ton of roots and new leaves everywhere.

shifted out the CO2 ladder with a airstone and its doing better (no more traffic jams lol )

the tank is no where near finished as right now it looks like a LFS plant tank, but it willstay that way till i up de lights and get the powerhead and then ill rearrange stuff, then another order after my CO2 collection is complete.

ferts should be coming in any day now.


the fish all look wonderful only fsh having problems is my raphael cat hes so cute. bumping into the plants and backing up and trying another way lol funny, he lets me pet him and takehim out of the water now too.

i netted the area off so well see what happens , if they hatch ill have an excuse to get a 20 gallon to raise em in tho lol
