Hi all,
I have a betta in a 2.5 gallon tank. He has been there for about 1 week, previously he had been in a smaller bowl/tank at our restaurant.
I thought he was doing well - his colour is good, he is active, but I just noticed that he has a furry/fuzzy bit on the end of his tail.
What do I do now? I just gave him some food and he did come up and eat
thanks in advance for your help :)
Susan

edit-
his tank is cycled and ammonia & nitrites are 0, not sure of nitrates, but have changed 25% of the water recently

Okay your betta most likely has fungus go to ur nearst LFS and get some fungus removing pills my betta died from that, eventually he will just stop eating and die so try to get the fungus meds ASAP

Do a water change also, about 35-40%. Then add the meds.

Hope he gets better!
