hey my marble betta spot is just at the top of his tank just floating there. he is alive cause when i touch him he moves. i took a flashlight and i looked closer and it looks like he has fuzzy stuff all over his body it is white and it is very hard to notice but if you look closly you can see it. i did water changes do oyu think he is just tired or stresed out? ill post pictures once my camera is charged
-----EDIT---

it looks like it is also one his eyes

and it dosent loook like ick at all

I'd up his heat if you have a heater (and if you don't, it's a good investment). He's not feeling good at all. You may want to pick up Jungle Fungus Clear tabs. And watch him. I'm sure someone else will have some more advice here soon.

Also, change his water and make sure everything is CLEAN. Like... spotless. It's probably a fungus, so no matter what kind, the JFE tabs should get rid of it... Keep us updated on the little guy.

Do you have pictures yet? If it is fungal, malachite green works wonders. I have used it many times with great success. I have never seen a fungus all over their body though. It was also visable to the naked eye.

It could also be columnaris. If this is it, you don't want to turn the temp up as it is bacterial and can really do more harm than good. I have never adjusted the temp to treat fungus.

Could it possibly be him shedding his slime coat? I have never seen this in person, nor do I know how to treat it.

For now, perhaps give him a nice water change with a pinch of salt. If it looks like he is having trouble swimming you could lower his water level a bit, and add a silk or live plant that reaches the surface. This way he can beach himself and get air easily.

If you can't take pictures of your fish, perhaps you can do a google search and look for another picture that looks the same. It may help you diagnose the problem better.

now he'll sink to the bottom and then he struggles to swim back up to the top ro get air

it dosent look like columnaris

-----EDIT----
i cant take a good picture of it and i cannot find and on the net :(

I would give him a water change, and lower the water level, and add a pinch of salt. I hesitate to add meds to any tank until I know what I am dealing with.

If it is fungus any med with malachite green in it will work.

Try searching slime coat disease. I don't remember much about it, but I am pretty sure it is bacterial. If so, Maracyn with Maracyn II should work.

EDIT

Does it look like this?

I never found out what was wrong with this boy, he died shortly after coming home with me.
Keep us updated.

i have marclyn 2 i took a video of what he is doing
i am soo worried :-( i put him in a spare hospital tank

Sounds just like what I lost my Orchid to. He died of columnaris. If it is columnaris more heat will actually speed up the disease.

maracyn 2 will not treat columnaris if that is what it is. Maracyn treats columnaris.

Meds are not the answer for every problem and should never be added just in case, IMO. It does sound like columnaris. Is the fish eating? Do you have a test kit? Can you get the stats of the water and post them? Have you done a water change? What is your maintenance schedule with this tank? Is it heated or filtered? What is the fish doing now? Does the fuzz seem to fall off? Did you lower the water level?

It is very hard to diagnose a fish with something without seeing it. I really need more information. Often illness is caused by poor water conditions, and can be relieved or even cured by changing the water, and keeping it clean.
