Future of my aquarium

As you may know I am getting a tropical tank, and from my £250 birthday and christmas money, I have used £100 on the tropical setup
I am thinking about getting maybe a saltwater tank and the setup with this years bday and christmas money, maybe get a setup next april
The guy at the lfs says he will get me a good protein skimmer, lighting (UV), salt etc. no tank for around £200
I'm thinking, If i have uv lighting does this allow me to have coral etc?

Yes, you need good lighting for coral and anemones etc. At the moment IMO I think that T5 lighting is the best but can be more expensive than other types of light but if you have it then your choices are limitless.

T5? I'd suggest getting Metal Halides or better a MH/PC combo.
