anyone have any humourous incidents involving your fish?

at the minute I have nothing that springs to mind, but im staring at my breeding pair of discus looking at my bag of corys floating in the tank, one looking on in disbelief and the other pecking at the bag where the corys are. I am shooing them away occasionally

One of my shrimps leapt out of the jug of tankwater he was in while I was moving things around in my tank and went on a mini rampage across the carpet, but other than that, no :)

Done a regular W/C on my small tank, except this was a monthly 'clean all the fake plants' clean-up..

As i always do, all plants go onto the sink side for their clean, which was done as usual and put back into the tank.

45 MINUTES later there's a shriek downstairs, Mrs. Apple had been startled by one of my shrimp scurrying around the kitchen sink. I popped him back in and he's been ever since.

terry.

I learned the hard way that most tanks need some sort of lid or cover. The day of this epiphany came about while I was writing a paper at my desk. At the time my small 5 pound bunny Lyla was on the desk with me making sure I was staying on task. Pushed up right next to my desk was our 60 gallon tank housing a 15+ year old red slider turtle. I swear that rabbit and I had a psychic link because as engrossed as I was in my assignment the thought popped into my mind "Could she make the jump over the side of the tank?". The next second "Splash!" Seeing my Netherland dwarf rabbit just sitting there, quite stoic I have to add, in a tank chest high with water was somewhat surreal. Thankfully the tank was only filled to half capacity.

My cat regularly drinks out of my tank, but gets attacked by shrimp and runs off ...the idiot.

Mine too. She only drinks out of the tank, and caterwauls when the floating plants have covered it over.

My dwarf gourami fell in love with my friend's old female betta. He would make bubble nests all the time and chase her around the tank. She did not find it humorous.
