Fun With Laser Pointers

So, I have a laser pointer that I use to entertain my cats. A few nights ago, I pointed it at my office tank (which was dark in a dark room) and the beam is visible. I noticed that my angels started trying to attack it. It's a bit difficult to make sure you don't get them in the eyes - I imagine that would do some serious damage, but it was pretty interesting.

The next day, with the lights on, I projected a dot on the gravel in the tank. My swordies were fighting over who got to chase it around. Seems the cats aren't the only ones entertained by the laser pointer

I have done the same with hubby's oscars....and the dogs....and the kids. Cheap amusement!
