My Female platy gave birth to her first batch of fry about 31 days ago I managed to save five of her fry which are now perfectly healthy fun lil things. yesterday she began to give birth again i put her in the breeding trap and she gave birth to about 40 fry heads. Thats right just the head. they were all ( with the exception of three actually that lived) were just heads. her last batch seemed perfectly fine. anyone have any idea as to what happened?

Didnt she have any stress after birth, i read this type thing occurring before, if a mother under goes stress after birth and is still carring, the fry development can be aborted, hence forth the development of only the heads and no bodies
