From The Bedroom Down To The Lounge

Tangs like to swim too much for a net I think, too much stress and probably an outbreak of ick. A sump would have been ideal but as you say you would have had to catch it.

A bit stumped at the moment with that one.

Yea thought so Tiger, thing is I really like my tang and last thing I want is to cause it alot of stress and have it fall ill and have another ich outbreak in the tank so might have to give that a miss. coming to think about it however I might add the new angel to the breeding net instead, this way it can get accustomed to the new tank water without being killed and then after a day or so i can release it into the tank, that way at least it can deal with half the stress rather than have the stress of being put into a new tank along with getting attacked at the same time without giving it time to settle in. What are your thoughts on that idea?

Also to point out the breedings net i am talking about isn't just an ordinary net but instead it a netted box that is approx 12" x 8" x 8" so should be too small? what do you wreckon?

For a big healthy tang that's survived outbreaks of Ich... It could probably stand a little time in solitary confinement ;)

As you can see I have got rid of most my large softies and am moving more towards lps and sps but taking it nice and slow. The tank still has a long way to guy before i am satisfied with its look.

The cabbage coral in the middle is currently in the process of being sold, any suggestions as to what I should replace it with? I want something nice and colourfull to make the centre piece for my tank...

Pleave leave me your thoughts and sugesstion especially positive criticism. :)

Thanks Sharm.

Good call at that. make sure you feed those blastos and acans and they'll grow like wildfire :D

Thanks for the advice mate, I am currently feeding them directly 2 times a week; once on a thurs and then on sun, do you think this is enough or should I feed more often??

Also I forgot to mention I have recently bought myself a seio 5000L pump along with a koralia 4 (4200L), these are a n addition to my koralia 1... and I have only just realised my total water movement is like 70x turnover :X I never intended on it being that much but everything including fish, inverts and corals seems happy so gonna keep it as it is and see what happens! :)

Did I see that you are selling some of your corals on the dark side?

How about putting them on the frags threads if you are?
