I had to house a salt water setup for someone and used a new Fluval 404 for it. The salt water fish have found a new home now and I have put my 25 gallon fresh into the 33 gallon that once held salt.
I have used all of the fresh water and added new water and all is well. I plan to heavily plant this 33 gallon and will not use carbon unless I have to.
Here is my question: Can the Biomax be cleaned of the salt water experience and used in the fresh water? It is only 3 months old and I have lots of space for it in my fresh water 404.
What would you pros reccomend?
