Frogs Help Me!

i have became interested in frogs, and i have decided to keep 1 or 2!.

basicly i would like to no what frogs make good pets thanks

Well I would personally recommend either African Dwarf Frogs or African Clawed Frogs.

I owned two albino African Claweds and loved them. They're usually pretty cheap (mine were $10 each) and they're easy to care for as well. They're aquatic frogs though so be prepared to care for the tank like a fish tank. They're awesome looking and it's amusing to watch them eat. But you have to have a lid for the tank or they WILL jump out! That's how one of mine died, he got out and we couldn't find him in time. Be careful what kind of filter you get too because they will jump up into them.

Also, if you were to get a boy and a girl frog, get ready to be woken up at night by the male's calls and their noisy somersault sex.

I haven't researched or owned African Dwarf frogs though, but I do believe they're quite similar, but smaller.

If your thinking of getting African Clawed Frogs then please be aware that they eat fish and so should be kept alone. African Dwarf Frogs are completly peaceful and can be kept in community tanks but this can sometimes pose problems particularly with feeding. Clawed frogs are lovely, tiny and peaceful.
red eye/Green tree frogs are striking and a good conversation piece.
Cricket frogs are bizarre looking.
Theres so many kinds! and they're all pretty easy to care for.
As well as frogs, don't forget toads. I keep fire-bellied toads. They're lovely little guys who get on well, sing loudly about their territory and feed on small worms, slugs and anything they can fit in their mouth.

I personally really like the fire bellied toads at Petsmart. They are beautiful in color and they are very easy to maintain.

HAY REALLY ITS ALL ABOUT POISON ARROW FROGS I HAVE A BEAUTIFUL PLANTED TERARIUM WITH A WATERFALL AND LITTLE POND AREA.
I HAVE FIVE ARROW FROGS 3 BRIGHT BLUE AND 2 BRIGHT GREEN THERE BEAUTIFUL AND GREAT TO WATCH.
REASONABLY EASY TO CARE FOR THE TERARIUM CARES FOR ITS SELF AND I HAVE A FEW SNAILS WICH EAT ALL THE WASTE
GREAT PETS THEY ARE A LITTLE NOISEY BUT ONLY ROUND MATEING SEASON BUT YOU GET USED TO IT

well i personally love African albino clawed frogs. mine are really small
right now and I love to watch them, they're hilarious. I keep a snail in
with them to help clean. But i don't use filters i just simply change out 75% of the water each week.

oh and snoopyfrench87 ur frogs look like they're mating. gross.
