Friends For Peppered Cory Catfish?

Hi! I have two little Peppered Cory Catfish in a 45 gallon tank (along with swordtails, mollies, and platies.)
I know that Corydoras need to be in groups of at least 5 (right?)
I was going to get them some friends, but I wanted to maybe get some different kinds, like Pandas or Albinos or something.
Would they all school together and "play" together? Just wondering

Normally, they don't school together though some do. It's best to get all the same kind at at least 6, though more is better.

ive had several different corys and they all grouped together with thier own type, never seemed to mixed

Got bronze and peppers. They play together, but gather together amongst thier own kind.
Each species has thier own ways.
My bronze snuffle the sand more, and the peppers clean the plants.
They also have preferred ends of the tank.

I would get at least 4 more peppered, then they're true schooling behavior will start happening.  If you're interested in getting more than just peppered cories ( I always love seeing the difference in behavior between species) then your 45 is plenty big enough for another shoal of cories, just make sure you research the temp requirements first

It's best to keep with the same ones , Black peppred will mix very well also .

together but a lot of the time they all like to do their own thing... Only problem to keeping the pepper cories (Paleatus) with the Albino Green Bronze (Aeneus) Is the pepper cories prefer much colder water.
