Thank crunchie its friday
Heres my help

this week i will help every1 on raising fry :)

Hints: to raise a very successful batch of any kind of fish fry all u need is 3 easy rules; clean water, brine shrimp as food, every third day water changes of about 25%

if u are new to the breeding hobby then the best shot to go for is a cichlid pair (non-pair forming breeds are not good parents). They raise & protect theyre fry to death and are very fun to watch theyre daily schedule of coming out of the cave in the morning, getting their meals & best of all seeing the parents protect them

for a good batch of fry you obviously need parents and with a wide range of easy to breed fish to choose from you will definitly find one that suits you

bettas, cichlids & livebearers are the most well known fish for breeding

Tips: for a fish fry that reaches a size of 4-5cm when adult form, a tank size of 30+ litres will work fine
for a fish fry that reaches a size of 7-10cm when adult form, a tank size of 50+ litres will work fine
for a fish fry that reaches a size of 10-15cm when adult form, a tank size of 90+ litres will work fine

I will post more info 2nit :)

OK it's Fryday!! More puffer babies from me :D I used to start them off on microworms but since my microworm culture died a while ago, they now get a good start on baby brine shrimps until I wean them onto frozen and live bloodworms.

hint-document your breeding success so for future reference you can look back and copy again, any little thing like water temp/ph/what lighting and what you were feeding, this is more important for the more difficult specie's to breed!
Also it's great to look back on your accomplishment :good:
