Fresh Start

so, you're looking at getting the atomised difusser?

That was from Aquaessentials

http://www.aquaessentials.co.uk/easy-aqua-super-mist-atomiser-large-p-5572.html

remember you do need 2bars of pressure to get it going, and be very patient with it. When it does get going you won't be disappointed.

and the ADA stuff was from The green machine.

I know testing has gone into this stuff ala Tom Barr and it is essentially the same as TPN+, there are subtle differences in it though. I have only been using it a week, so can't really comment on how good it is, but i'm seeing no problems or deficiencies at present.

The atomised difusser does look good but i may actually go for an inline one so i can get one more piece of kit out of my tank. I have found one or 2 good ones on ebay so that may be the way forward. I reckon I have another month left out of my furts so i reckon I will see how you get on with yours for a little bit longer

Just a little update, The pics from last night were a little bit cloudy as the tank had only been filled up a few hours ago and there were lots of reflections going on etc. so here is the FTS

I will tell you one thing tho, seriously impressed at how the substrate has come out, when i read on the bag dont rinse and it make take a week for cloudiness to settle i was expecting a tank full of milky brown water with some green plants pocking though the mist but it hardly clouded at all compared to normal gravels.

This is a lovely start. I'd add more crypts, but that's just me. I tend to go very densly planted.

Looking good, I'm with Liz there, I'd add more crypts there too, they look great once grown in.

I had planned on getting about 6 or 7 pots of crypts but I went on Sunday and they get their deliveries on a monday so there was only leftovers. But i do have a good few sets of lovely crypts from my main tank, they have a much smaller sharper looking leaf and are a lovely bright green (dont no the proper full name) so i may have a few out and pop them in the new setup 2night when I do the nightly water change. Cheers for the comments tho every one :good:
