Thanks chac,

Loads of stuff to look at there :)

Thats what has taken me, The challange of marine, I like keeping tropicals but think im ready for the step up, ive still got alot to learn i no, With you guys by my side hopfully ill be just fine.

Ive just spoken to me girlfriend, She seems to be turning on keeping the vision 450, Its just ganna depend the size of the house we can get [im going to be looking for the biggest living room ever] :D

Ive seen you can get someone to come round and drill holes for a sump, seems a good idea.

j-money i want to go for coral not fowlr, sorry my mistake, Ive been looking at other tanks online and seen some real smart blue lighting tanks that had coral set-up, Im swing towards that sort of look [need to find out what them bulbs where]

All looks good to me, Just cant wait to move now to get started

Chac do you think keep vision 450 then when im ready get holes drilled and sump put in, Or sale the 450 and buy a tank already drilled.

Plus thanks for all the info your a star, I no more 30mins on here, then 3 hours reading a 300 page marine book.

If it were me I would keep the Vision 450 as it will make a great Marine tank,

1 major draw back is the amount of Live Rock you will need - 0.5kg per g (450l = 100g uk) so around 50kg of Live Rock

You could mix Live Rock with Reef Bones which would save you a good bit of cash

:D

Off course the bigger the tank the more Live Rock, Flow, Lighting, Salt etc. you will need, so more cash

Hi Rich

Two things

1st - If you are thinking of adding Reef Bones try clams.co.uk instead of the link aboe (this place is cheaper)

2nd - PM is Fine by me :D, I smash   my lighting unit last night so will get some pics when the new one arrives (should be in a couple of days)
