Hello,

Im new to the forum and have been mislead by the fish images (left of the topic on the home page) id tricked my self into thinking the blue tetras were old / no new posts, and the orange fish were new posts in that topic, so ive only been reading the ones with orange fish. Could it be changed so that the images change depending on whether or not there are new posts within that topic/forum or not? the original IPB use to have faded out images, maybe we could have faded out tetras for the new/old posts?

New posts have a coloured in fish, no new posts are a grey/dulled fish.

 I've not noticed the dulled out ones. maybe its just me.

Edit:

Never mind, im sorry i see them now. :S Guess you only notice them when your looking for them :p

Actually, the neons are forums that have no subforum under them. The Clown Loaches, are forums that have subforums such as the Livebearers Forum which has 2 subforums, Common Livebearers and Rare Livebearers.

New post are noted by a bright colored envelope to the left of the topic name. If you have replied to that particular thread, it will have a dot in it.

You probably haven't seen the dulled fish because there are still topics you haven't read in that
forum yet :good:

Unless you read every thread or use the link on the right side of the page under "Options" to mark the foum as read, you won't ever see the dull fish. The fish don't change they just go to gray. The type fish indicates whether there are subforums or not in that forum.

I didn't say that the fish change ;)
