Some interesting fixtures, especially the Nottingham derby and the Leeds derby, and I high lighted my own too  at least we have a home draw this year, I'm just hoping we don't go out in the first round again, like we did for the past two years, Rotheram and Crewe knocked us out :/.

are these played before the league starts ? reality check for west ham, 2 months ago they were mixing it with man utd and chelsea. their next game is against aldershot in the 1st round of the carling cup

also, i lol'd at 's#37###horpe'

Haha, they're played on the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after the first fixture.

Liverpool's third kit 2011/12..

I'm on a break in work, so I've got a little time to browse the Forum and make paper airplanes, and do other things, etc etc. And every-day, well most days I listen in to a discussion show on the radio. And one of the subjects was about FOOTBALL :hyper: Surprise, surprise. Anyway lol. Listening in for a good 45 minutes now and the focus was on the Liverpool away kit. Blue & white ? Now when I think of blue & white, I think of..Everton. Manchester City. Marseille. Sunderland. Etc, etc. I suppose if it was any other mutual colour, nobody would hardly flinch.

If you was dedicated to a team, and went to most/every, match. would you be happy to wear A rivals colour ?

Or is it a case of, it's not what you wear it's how you play ?

i cant say that kit reminds me of Everton. its nt the same blue, and blue is a relatively small feature in the kit. i think it largely depends on the individual fan. my mate is die hard norwich fan, and they dared to have a pale blue kit a few years ago, and he was outraged. Ipswich, the local rivals, play in an almost royal blue colour, but a bir darker, and my mate didnt like it the norwich kit was blue. yet looked nothing like it. norwich originally actually played in blue like ipswich do...........

there will be liverpool fans who dont like it, but hey ho. buy the red one. also, sunderland play in red and white, not blue

I've just had confirmation telling me that Wembley has been awarded the right to host the European Cup Final next year.

RE:The liverpool kit...im a lfc fan and i love it will definitly be getting it.

Glad wembley get the CL final again makes up for all the other tourneys the corrupt fifa wont give us lol

Up The Pompey!!

Don't care where we finish this season as long as we continue to dominate the south coast! Season ticket paid for my 12th season, just hope we sort out some more players, as only signed Norris so far.

some interesting fixtures. of concern to me, newcastle v arsenal on the opening day at st james', then straight into the local derby a week later at sunderland. :/ newcastle down at norwich just before xmas, so hopefully going to that. everton on the last day, so cant imagine it being a massively important game.

5th of February is going to be a blood bath, Derby vs Forest and West Ham vs Millwall.

Is that a joke?

that is absolutely ridiculous. i know managers like to use congestion as excuses, including the england manager, but that is proof, what a joke. saying that, maybe arsenal shoudl have finished a place further up and avoided those qualifiers :hey: just bad luck that the league games are against liverpool and utd. even newcastle away isn't a given for arsenal.

i still dream about Tiotte's equaliser. that was a colossal match, i remember i was putting flat pack together in the front room with final score on the tv. turned it on, oh 4-0 at half time. then it went mental.

That match was ridiculous in an arsenals fans eyes, just typical of what we are like. Although it was also kinda lucky for Newcastle, some of the decisions were so so, but I wont go into details lol

Yep, shoulda finished further up, it was a two horse race, same old same old and we end up finishing 4th

I was watching a little bit of the old footie, striking back to the 60's onwards and I noticed, their were more British players. All from the first division as it was known, back then. And they all seemed to be hungrier for the game. Even the crowds where louder.. I'm not saying that isn't the case in this present day. But let's face it, players now-a-days.. in the Premier league would get anything, from in-between.. Well let's just say it's a ridiculously life changing amount. Am, I the only one that thinks, that these high wages are the ruination of football, as we see it?

The way I see it, if their wages were to be reduced..and I'm including other leagues around the globe now, would there be a more class of a player? With more respect and more of a fighting, passion to actually wear the shirt? Within the years I have to laugh, how players have been demanding this and that, blackmailing etc etc.

And what about British players? Well..should we be investing even more in our own academies? Give it another five years down the line, will there be more or less quality British players in the Premier league?

Will England ever re-crown the title since 66!?!! Will Brazil 2014 be the time! OUR time?..Come on now, it takes eleven men to make a team and one manager to play his best! I honestly think that Mike Bassett would do a better job, then what we have at the moment lol all jokes, aside. In my life time I would love to see England win the World Cup. For a football fanatic, it means the world :hyper:

One other thing. Is there really such a thing as natural talent? Or can a nothing be molded into, something? Mind you, it does help if you have a leap in your fitness abilities, if you're comparing to certain individuals
